MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073610 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for Thermally Opposing Dual-Boundary Architecture For Ambient-Independent Thermal Regulation Of Electrochemical Energy Storage Systems.

Inventor includes Ankur Jain.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT THERMALLY OPPOSING DUAL-BOUNDARY ARCHITECTURE FOR AMBIENT-INDEPENDENT THERMAL REGULATION OF ELECTROCHEMICAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS A thermally managed electrochemical energy storage system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) comprises one or more electrochemical cells (102-1, 102-2, ... 102-N), a first thermal boundary (104) associated with the electrochemical cells and configured to promote heat transfer from the electrochemical cells, and a second thermal boundary (106) positioned between the electrochemical cells and an external environment and configured to restrict heat transfer from the external environment. In an embodiment, the first thermal boundary (104) comprises a thermally conductive medium including a dielectric fluid such as synthetic ester oil, while the second thermal boundary (106) comprises a thermal insulation structure including a vacuum-insulated region, aerogel insulation, foam insulation, gas insulation, or combinations thereof. The first thermal boundary (104) facilitates transfer of internally generated heat away from the electrochemical cells, whereas the second thermal boundary (106) reduces ambient heat transfer toward the electrochemical cells. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
