Abstract: ABSTRACT THERMAL INSULATING SEPARATOR ASSEMBLY FOR BATTERY MODULES Present invention relates to a thermal insulating separator assembly (100) 5 for battery modules in a battery pack containing multiple cell modules arranged with vents facing each other. The thermal insulating separator assembly (100) consists of a plastic support part (102) that is sandwiched between a first thermal insulating sheet (104) and a second thermal insulating sheet (106) made of insulating materials such as Mica. The 10 thermal insulating separator assembly (100) prevents the transfer of heat and gases between the cell modules during thermal runaway, while also providing impact resistance as the disclosed thermal insulating separator assembly is positioned between the battery modules. 15
