Abstract: TITLE OF INVENTION: THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING FLEXOGRAPHY PLATES ABSTRACT: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a flexographic printing plate using stereolithography (SLA) based additive manufacturing. The method comprises designing a digital model of the flexographic printing plate, preparing a UV-curable flexible resin, fabricating the plate in a layer-by-layer manner using an SLA process, and post-curing the fabricated plate using ultraviolet (UV) light to obtain a finished plate with defined surface features. The fabricated plate exhibits high dimensional accuracy and fine surface resolution suitable for high- quality printing applications. The plate includes micro-scale surface features configured to improve ink transfer efficiency and printing consistency. The geometry of the plate, including relief depth and pattern configuration, is customizable through digital design inputs. The manufacturing process eliminates conventional steps such as film exposure, chemical etching, and solvent-based processing. The plate is formed from recyclable resin material also can also be recycled at the end of its service life, thereby reducing material waste and enabling a more efficient and adaptable plate fabrication process (Figure 1).
