Inventors include Shetty, Smita; Dimnik, Riikka Karoliina; and Cauduro Dias De Paiva, Rafael.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage medium for testing transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state delay. In a method, a first apparatus transmits, to a second apparatus via a first antenna, a first reference signal corresponding to a first transmission configuration indicator, TCI, state and a second reference signal corresponding to a second TCI state, the first and second reference signals being different in a signal characteristic. The first apparatus transmits, to the second apparatus, an indication of a switch from the first TCI state to the second TCI state. The first apparatus verifies a switch time of the switch from the first TCI state to the second TCI state by scheduling, via the first antenna, transmission with the second TCI state to the second apparatus.
