Abstract: A tensile test fixture (100) for testing strength of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composite component (102) is provided. The tensile test fixture (100) comprises a first member (104) comprising a first gripper portion (110) and a first holding portion (112). The tensile test fixture (100) also comprises a second member (106) having a second gripper portion (120) and a second holding portion (122). The tensile test fixture (100) further comprises a third member (108) having a third gripper portion (130) and a second holding portion (132). Each of the first gripper portion (110), the second gripper portion (120) and the third gripper portion (130) are configured to hold the fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composite component (102) for testing strength.
