Abstract: The Tennis Ball Collector Robot is a fully autonomous system designed to significantly reduce the manual effort required to retrieve tennis balls after training or competitive sessions. This invention is tailored to serve players, coaches, and training centers by automating one of the most repetitive and time-consuming tasks in tennis practice. The robot utilizes a pair of rotating arms that effectively scoop up tennis balls scattered across a court. These arms are supported by a conveyor mechanism that lifts the balls into a dedicated onboard storage unit. Integrated with infrared sensors for accurate ball detection and ultrasonic sensors for obstacle avoidance, the robot operates seamlessly on both indoor and outdoor court surfaces. Compact and lightweight in design, it can easily be transported and stored between uses. The system is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, offering four to six hours of uninterrupted use, and it can be controlled either autonomously or remotely via a wireless device or mobile application. By automating the process of ball collection, the robot not only enhances the efficiency of training sessions but also reduces physical strain on players and staff. Its durable construction, high-capacity storage, and intelligent navigation system make it an innovative step forward in the domain of sports automation.
