Abstract: This invention relates to a temporary fixed riding pontic designed for orthodontic use to aesthetically mask extraction spaces or missing teeth during active orthodontic treatment. The appliance provides a fixed, esthetic replacement that restores smile appearance and patient confidence throughout the treatment phase. It consists of an acrylic tooth attached to a 19- gauge stainless steel wire framework, which is soldered to orthodontic molar bands. The pontic rides over the alveolar ridge, without applying pressure on the soft tissue or interfering with orthodontic mechanics. The appliance is lightweight, durable, and can be easily customized according to the patient's dental arch and tooth morphology. This innovation provides an esthetic interim solution, maintaining appearance and space integrity until permanent tooth replacement or space closure is achieved.
