MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641106135 A) filed by Sri Eshwar College Of Engineering on September 03, 2026, for Telemetry-Integrated Real-Time Ground Control And Mission Monitoring System For Dual Disaster- Response Drones.

Inventors include Vimal A; and Kavin C.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a telemetry-integrated Ground Control Station system configured for real-time monitoring, visualization, and coordination of dual disaster-response drones. The system comprises a telemetry communication interface, a data-processing unit, and a graphical Ground Control Station interface configured to directly receive and process operational information from a Scout Drone and a Delivery Drone. The received information comprises GPS coordinates, altitude, drone position, movement information, battery status, system status, and detection results. The data-processing unit organizes the received telemetry and presents the information through graphical indicators, digital maps, status panels, and target-location visualization. Detection results generated by the Scout Drone are displayed together with corresponding geographical location information to enable identification and monitoring of target areas. The Ground Control Station further provides centralized monitoring of the Scout Drone and Delivery Drone and supports coordination of navigation and mission operations based on the received target information. The system operates through direct telemetry communication and provides a dedicated monitoring and visualization environment without relying on external ground-control software for processing the received information, thereby improving situational awareness, centralized mission monitoring, and coordination during disaster-response operations.
