MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611105146 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on August 27, 2026, for Tea Brewing System And Method For Adaptive Botanical Extraction.

Inventor includes B Gyani Priyanka Patnaik.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A tea brewing system (100) for adaptive botanical extraction. The system (100) comprises a brewing chamber (101) configured to receive water and botanical infusion material, a heating module (102), a sensor array (103) including a temperature sensor, a pH sensor, and an optical sensing unit, an agitation module (104), a processing unit (105) incorporating a predictive extraction model (106), a memory (107), and a thermal-quench module (108). The processing unit (105) processes real-time extraction data to generate a dynamic extraction profile, predict a future extraction trajectory and a predefined extraction endpoint, and dynamically regulate extraction temperature, agitation, and duration. The optical sensing unit may comprise a multispectral sensor for monitoring infusion characteristics and estimating concentrations of extracted compounds. The system further enables automated leaf separation, bitterness prediction, and corrective extraction control. A corresponding method utilizes real-time sensor feedback and predictive modeling to produce beverages having consistent chemical extraction profiles while minimizing over-extraction and thermal degradation.
