Abstract: [Problem] To enable a person in a place remote from the location of a tank to recognize the amount of fluid in a tank in real time, without using a bulky weight measuring device or providing a sensor within the tank. [Solution] This tank internal fluid amount estimating system comprises: deformation measuring sensors 26, 27 which are provided on an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical tank 16 capable of accommodating a prescribed upper limit amount of fluid; a wireless transmitting device which is capable of wirelessly transmitting information relating to detected values from the deformation measuring sensors; a wireless receiving device which is capable of receiving the information relating to the detected values from the deformation measuring sensors, transmitted wirelessly by the wireless transmitting device; and an estimating unit that estimates which amount among amounts having a plurality of magnitudes, including zero and the upper limit amount, corresponds to the amount of fluid in the tank, on the basis of detected-value related information including an amount of distortion of the tank based on the detected values from the deformation measuring sensors, received by the wireless receiving device.
