Abstract: Systems and methods for detection of a health state and/or RUL of a vehicle component can include one or more processors obtaining a plurality of data sets of one or more vehicles such that each data set is recorded from a corresponding vehicle at a corresponding RUL of a vehicle component and includes parameter values of a set of parameters of the vehicle. The one or more processors assign to each data set a corresponding health state of the vehicle component based on the corresponding RUL, and select a subset of parameters of the set of parameters based on impact of the parameters on the health state and/or RUL of the vehicle component. The one or more processors train, using values of the subset of parameters, a machine learning model for detection of the health state and/or RUL of the vehicle component, and provide the machine learning model for deployment.
