Abstract: ABSTRACT Systems and methods for managing the distribution of power in a charging and interchange station Embodiments herein disclose systems and methods for managing the power distribution in battery charging and interchange stations. Embodiments herein ensure efficient, safe, and adaptive power management by integrating advanced control units, protective devices, and monitoring systems. A Power Distribution Unit (PDU) distributes grid power to station components, including rectifiers, thermal systems, and auxiliary devices. Intelligent Control Units (ICU) and Rack Supervisory Units (RSU) dynamically regulate power supply based on operational modes, optimising energy utilisation. Safety features, including microcontroller-based circuit breakers, surge protection devices, line filters, and UV-OV relays, safeguard against electrical faults and ensure stable operation. Additionally, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) units maintain critical systems during outages. Embodiments herein minimize energy wastage, enhances operational safety, and ensures seamless functionality, making it a highly efficient solution for modern charging and interchange stations.
