Abstract: ABSTRACT Systems and methods for managing assets in battery charging and interchange stations Embodiments herein disclose systems and methods for securely managing assets (such as, but not limited to, battery packs) in battery charging and interchange stations, wherein all assets (with/without communication capabilities) are securely tracked. Embodiments herein use unique identifiers or alternative indicators to distinguish test battery packs from operational field battery packs. Embodiments herein enable specific battery packs to be only accepted at designated test stations. Embodiments herein provide automated alerts and notifications to inform relevant personnel when a battery pack is removed from an authorized location. Embodiments herein can use a recovery mechanism for assets without communication capabilities to facilitate their quick recovery.
