MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641118340 A) filed by Bannari Amman Institute Of Technology on October 03, 2026, for Systems And Methods For Learner Growth Tracking And Assessments.
Inventors include Abinaya S; Anusha S; Ajai Selvam M; Aakas D R; and Poongodi C.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: A learner growth tracking and assessment system and method are disclosed for continuously evaluating learner competencies, skill progression, and employability readiness through a dynamic feedback-driven framework. Referring to FIG. 1, a learner enters the system (102) by providing profile information, skill records, and targeted job roles. A real-time skill assessment process (103) evaluates learner competencies using topic-level assessments and performance-based activities. The results of the assessment are then evaluated for industry decay (104) to determine skill relevance based on current market demand and industry patterns. Peer calibration (105) is conducted to validate the accuracy of assessment and growth of learners using comparative performance data. 106) An Employability Score is calculated and 107) assessed to measure learner readiness. The evaluation may result in learners being assigned foundation tasks (108), classified as job ready (109) or provided with personalized recommendations (110). Intelligent peer matching (111), task execution (112) and reassessment (113) allows for continuous learner improvement. The system comprises a learner input module 201, assessment engine 202, processing platform 203, industry decay model 204, employability score engine 205, peer calibration module 206, feedback loop controller 207, recommendation engine 208, intelligent peer matching module 209, decision output module (210), learner dashboard 211, and learner activity monitoring module (212), as shown in FIG. 2. The invention allows adaptive learner growth tracking, customized educational guidance, industry-aligned assessment, and continuous employability evaluation.
