Abstract: SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CROP DISEASE PREDICTION, DIAGNOSIS, AND MITIGATION USING CLIMATE- RESPONSIVE DIGITAL TWINS A multimodal artificial intelligence framework for the prediction, diagnosis, and prescription of agricultural diseases across diverse crop species and environmental conditions. The disclosed Climate-Adaptive Multi-Crop Digital Plant Twin (CAMC-DPT) system comprises a Retinex-Guided Adaptive Preprocessing Module (RAPM) that normalizes variable field illumination to isolate plant reflectance. A Soil-Climate Interaction Tensor (SCIT) encodes non-linear pedological and atmospheric dynamics, generating environmental embeddings that are dynamically injected into a Climate-Conditioned Vision Transformer (CC- ViT) via cross-attention gating. To achieve cross-species generalization without full model retraining, the system employs a Multi- Crop Hierarchical Disease Encoder (MHDE) utilizing Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) modules. Extracted visual and environmental data are continuously fused within a Digital Plant Twin (DPT) state machine to track temporal plant health trajectories, enabling an LLM-Augmented Prescription Reasoning Engine (PRE) to dynamically generate site-specific, climate-aware agronomic treatment prescriptions.
