Abstract: Systems and devices disclosed herein relate to support systems including a base configured to move along a floor, a support column, a support arm, and a holding structure such as a bassinet or a tray, which is supported by the support arm. The holding structure can be configured to transition from a stowed configuration in which the holding structure is centered over the base to a deployed configuration in which at least a portion of the holding structure is disposed outside of a perimeter of the base. The system can be configured to maintain stability when the holding structure is in the deployed configuration. In some embodiments, the system can include counterweight assemblies or subsystems.
