The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present subject matter relates to a system (200) to prevent the entry of lean air-fuel mixture inside an (ICE). The system includes a fuel level sensor and a controller communicatively coupled with the fuel level sensor to determine an instantaneous fuel level (F). The controller determines a distance to fuel empty (DTE) based on the instantaneous fuel level and the determined average rate of fuel consumption. Further, the controller compares one of the instantaneous fuel level (F) and the determined distance to fuel empty (DTE) with at least one threshold value (Td), herein the at least one threshold value is indicative of one of a fuel level and a distance to fuel empty. The controller triggers fuel supply cut-off to the ICE when one of the instantaneous fuel level (F) and the determined distance to fuel empty (DTE) is lower than the at least one threshold value (Td).
