Abstract: Disclosed is a system to manage patient radiation exposure history. The system comprises a server comprising a processor and a memory storing executable instructions. The processor receives patient identification information from an input interface, retrieves stored exposure records associated with the patient identification information from a database, and receives patient-related information comprising scan information, role information, shielding information, dose information, and proximity information. The processor classifies a selected scan type as an ionizing scan type or a non-ionizing scan type and controls entry of dose information based on the selected scan type and the role information. The processor generates an exposure record, stores the exposure record in the database, calculates cumulative patient radiation dose from ionizing patient exposure records selected from stored and generated exposure records, and generates an exposure warning for display on an output interface according to the cumulative patient radiation dose.
