Abstract: A system for generating at least one sensory feedback (110) emulating powertrain operation in an electric vehicle (100), is disclosed. The at least one control unit (108) is configured to determine at least one operational parameter (104) and identify, based on the determined operational parameter (104), at least one of a gear ratio among a plurality of gear ratios in the electric vehicle (100) and a gear switching among the plurality of gear ratios. The control unit (108) extract values of a plurality of predefined characteristics of at least one of the identified gear ratio and the gear switching and correlates values associated with the determined at least one operational parameter (104) to the extracted values associated with the plurality of predefined characteristics. The at least one control unit (108) is configured to generate an output indicative of generating the at least one sensory feedback (110) based on the correlation.
