Abstract: Examples of a system (100) for treating vent gas from a sour water tank are described herein. The system (100) includes a liquid jet pump (1) and a separation vessel (2). The liquid jet pump (1) has an amine inlet (N1) to receive an amine. The liquid jet pump (1) further has a vent gas inlet (N2) to receive vent gas from the sour water tank. The liquid jet pump (1) also has an outlet (N3) to discharge a mixture of the amine and entrained vent gas. The separation vessel (2) is fluidly connected to the outlet (N3) of the liquid jet pump (1) and separates the mixture into treated vent gas and a rich amine.
