MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341062113 A) filed by Preetham Sivalingam on September 15, 2023, for System For Sleep Analysis And Method Of Managing Thereof.
Inventor includes Preetham Sivalingam.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a system designed to evaluate sleep quality through an interactive user interface. The system initiates a series of questions, including bedtime, wake-up time, caffeine / alcohol consumption and other potential factors, to gather relevant sleep data; these evaluation parameters are diverse and comprehensive leading to a more personalized sleep evaluation result. The acquired data is further fed into regression based artificial neural network developed algorithms used to calculate sleep splits between deep sleep and light sleep durations, which generates a numerical measurement for the quality of sleep, known as the “sleep score”, which is further classified into specific brackets. Based on the assigned sleep bracket, the system provides tailored feedback to enhance sleep quality and potentially elevate the sleep score. The suggested recommendations are curated from research articles and scientific journals exploring the correlation between sleep quality and overall efficiency. This system offers individualized inputs and recommendations, contributing to improved sleep health and overall well-being, thus enhancing productivity of the users.
