Abstract: A system for extraction of femoral stem (100) implanted in femoral bone of human anatomy is provided. The system includes the femoral stem (100) that includes a proximal part (101), a distal part (102), and a bottom part (103); a set of tabs that include a first tab (104) and a second tab (105); and a set of rods that include a first rod (106) and a second rod (107). A structure of the femoral stem (100) facilitates including a cavity in the femoral stem (100) that extends through the proximal part (101) and the distal part (102). The set of tabs facilitate self-extraction of the femoral stem (100) from the femoral bone. The first tab (104) is connected to the proximal part (101) and the second tab (105) is connected to the distal part (102). The set of rods are inserted into the femoral stem (100) via an opening of the cavity of the femoral stem (100). The insertion of the set of rods causes a dislocation of the set of tabs from the femoral stem (100) and self-extraction of the femoral stem (100) from the femoral bone.
