Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT-AUTHENTICATED AND CONSENT-GATED ACCESS TO PATIENT HEALTH DATA A system (100) for payment- authenticated, consent-gated access to patient health data is disclosed. A payer identity recovery module (110) recovers a payer address from a cryptographic signature in a payment signature header of an HTTP request. An identity mismatch check module (112) compares the recovered payer address with an asserted requester address. A consent evaluation module queries a grant record store (130) of a consent smart contract (128) using a key derived from a patient address, the recovered payer address and an access scope string. An audit entry recording the recovered payer address is written to an audit entry store (132).
