Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an on-device artificial intelligence (AI) egress mediation system (100) configured to prevent unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information to external AI services (14). The system comprises an Interception Module (1) configured to intercept outbound AI-directed content, a Local Detection Engine (2) including a Token Analysis Module (3) and a Semantic Co-occurrence Inference Module (4) for contextual security evaluation, and a Decision and Redaction Module (5) configured to selectively block, redact or approve content prior to transmission across a Network Boundary (13). The system further comprises an OCR Engine (6), a Desktop Coordinator Module (8), a Local Communication Server (11) and a Risk Clustering Module (12) configured to generate composite disclosure risks from multiple findings. The invention performs mandatory endpoint-level mediation before network transmission, thereby improving protection of confidential and regulated information during interactions with external artificial intelligence services.
