Abstract: System for maintaining fuel supply continuity in a vehicle using braking inertia and gravitational forces [0048] The present invention discloses a system (100) for maintaining fuel supply continuity to an engine (100b) from a fuel tank (100a) through a fuel flow path (100c) in a vehicle using braking inertia and gravitational forces. The system (100) comprises a valve arrangement (108) configured to restrict reverse fuel flow, a reservoir chamber (110) configured to temporarily retain fuel, and a plunger assembly (112) configured to undergo translational movement during vehicle deceleration. A resilience arrangement (114) maintains the plunger assembly (112) in an inactive position during normal operation. An air-vent arrangement (116) and a groove arrangement (118) establish temporary vent alignment for evacuating trapped air during transient braking conditions. During abrupt downhill braking conditions, movement of the plunger assembly (112) causes supplementary fuel displacement toward the engine (100b) to maintain uninterrupted fuel delivery. (Figure 1)
