MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641106323 A) filed by Medxai Innovations Private Limited on September 03, 2026, for System For Evaluating Risk Of Cervical Cancer And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Sheena Christabel Pravin; Reena Monica P.; Revathi Ananth; and Rajesh Sivaprakasam.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system (100) and a method (200) for evaluating risk of cervical cancer, which includes an image acquisition unit (102) that captures cervical images and video data using imaging devices. A processor (104) receives the captured data and extracts features associated with image quality and content. An adequacy validation engine (104-1) computes an adequacy score and inhibits further diagnostic processing when the adequacy score is below a threshold, while generating guidance outputs for reacquisition. A segmentation engine (104-2) processes validated images to generate lesion probability estimations. An inference engine (104-3) performs classification to generate calibrated lesion probabilities with confidence scores. A fusion engine (104-4) computes a cervical cancer risk index and a final risk output based on physician inputs. A reporting engine (104-5) generates diagnostic reports.
