Abstract: A system for evaluating effectiveness of contact tracing in controlling spread of infectious diseases, comprising a multi-agency data fusion module 101 to receive and aggregate heterogeneous epidemiological data from multiple data sources, and government databases, an identity resolution module 102 to normalize and probabilistically align records associated with individuals across the heterogeneous epidemiological data, a causal graph engine 103 to generate a transmission graph representing transmission relationships between individuals or events and to model intervention effects associated with contact tracing actions, a dynamic agent simulation layer 104 to simulate interactions of multiple epidemiological agents based on transmission-related parameters and contact tracing interventions, an effectiveness evaluation module 105 to compute a causal impact propagation index representing effectiveness of the contact tracing interventions in reducing infectious disease transmission, and a feedback interface 106 to provide evaluation outputs to a public health policy or outbreak management module.
