The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: A method (300) for distributed signal state estimation using iterative node-level processing in a sensor-based electronic network is disclosed. The method includes receiving measurement information. The method includes generating a plurality of node processing contexts. The method includes assigning the plurality of node processing contexts to the plurality of sensor nodes (102a, 102b). The method includes processing the received measurement information according to the corresponding node processing context to generate a local signal state estimate. The method includes exchanging the local signal state estimate with the plurality of sensor nodes. The method includes updating the local signal state estimate. The method includes performing an iterative node-level processing operation. The method includes redistributing the updated plurality of node processing contexts to the plurality of sensor nodes. The method includes outputting the network-wide signal state estimate in response to determining that the predefined estimation convergence criterion is satisfied.
