Abstract: Disclosed is a system for controlling actions derived from received text. The system includes a computing device configured to receive text from a clipboard operation, text selection operation, screen-capture operation, message, document, or application interface, process the received text to determine context, identify actionable items, and generate proposed actions executable through one or more applications. The computing device communicates information corresponding to the actionable items and proposed actions to a wearable headset device. The wearable headset device includes a head-worn support frame, neurological-signal electrodes, a signal acquisition circuit, a communication interface, and a headset controller. The headset controller acquires neurological signals, determines a user confirmation state, and transmits a confirmation output including approval, rejection, selection, inhibition, consent, or no-intent output.
