Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system (100) and a method (200) for communication between vehicle networks. A security orchestration engine (102) receives vehicle context parameters, network conditions, and threat assessment data and determines a cryptographic configuration. A threat prediction engine (104) processes telemetry and anomaly indicators to generate threat scores for updating the cryptographic configuration. A quantum-safe processing unit (106) executes cryptographic operations based on the configuration. A cross-layer security protocol (108) derives a session binding key using keying material and multi-layer parameters and initiates re-establishment upon parameter changes. A collaborative threat intelligence unit (110) exchanges and validates threat data with external entities. A compatibility unit (112) enables operation and transition between classical and post-quantum cryptographic schemes during communication sessions
