Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) for assessing postoperative recovery of post-caesarean women. The system (100) comprises a socio-demographic data collection module (1), a postoperative recovery assessment module (2), a clinical indicator evaluation module (3), a functional independence evaluation module (4), a maternal and neonatal care evaluation module (5), a scoring module (6), a recovery interpretation module (7), and an output generation module (8). The system assesses recovery indicators including urinary catheter removal, self-voiding, breastfeeding, baby handling, passage of flatus, analgesic requirement, bowel elimination, mobility, bathing, oral intake, grooming, baby care ability, Homan’s sign, and maternal feeling of -wbeinellg. Each indicator is scored using a predefined rating scale, and a total recovery score is generated. The system classifies recovery as poor, good, or excellent and provides a structured output for nursing evaluation, clinical monitoring, postoperative care planning, and obstetrical nursing research.
