Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (102) and a method (200) for predicting noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) characteristics of automotive components in a vehicle. The method (200) includes receiving data related to NVH performance of automotive components, followed by performing Finite Element (FE) modeling to identify parameters based on the data. A simulation environment is further established, replicating vehicle-level conditions, and evaluating the dynamic behavior of the automotive components, including vibration modes and interactions with adjacent vehicle structures. Simulation parameters are iteratively tuned to align simulation- predicted frequencies with physical test data. Based on the simulation output, the method adjusts the parameters to modify design of the automotive component, mitigating NVH performance issues identified during simulation or tuning. Further, the modified design is validated by comparing simulation outputs with real-time test results to ensure alignment with operational NVH performance.
