Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a method and apparatus for monitoring academic feedback activity at universities in order to maintain integrity of collected data and adherence to the requirements of accreditation. Conventional methods do not provide any measures for checking engagement of students. The method described herein consists of a main server that is equipped with the following modules: feedback management, activity monitoring, analytics, and database. During filling out the digital feedback form, the activity monitoring module receives telemetry data related to the process of interacting with it by students, such as how much time is spent on answering each question, mouse movements, scroll activity, and IP address. On the basis of the received telemetry data, the analytics module calculates the authenticity score and finds anomalies like rapid submissions or feedback done by proxy using the same IP addresses.
