MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202614064843 A) filed by Hcl Technologies Limited on May 22, 2026, for System And Method Of Real-Time Performance Optimization Of Generative Artificial Intelligence (gen Ai).
Inventors include Ashok Chandnani; and Rajesh Thyagarajan.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF REAL-TIME PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION OF GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (GEN AI) A method, system and a non-transitory computer-readable medium for real-time performance optimization of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GEN AI) are disclosed. A processor receives a GEN AI prompt from a user. The processor estimates a per-unit cost and a total cost associated with generating a response for the received GEN AI prompt using a runtime cost calculator based on one or more cost references stored in a cost database. The processor modifies the received GEN AI prompt using one or more cost-optimizing techniques. The processor provides the modified GEN AI prompt to a predefined Language Model (LM) to generate the response. The processor determines a cost saving achieved by generating the response using the modified GEN AI prompt as compared to the estimated per-unit cost and the total cost associated with the received GEN AI prompt.
