Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WIRELESS MONITORING, AUTOMATION, AND FAULT DETECTION Disclosed is a system (100) for wireless monitoring, automation, and fault detection. The system (100) includes an input unit (102) and a processor (104). The input unit (102) is configured to receive sensing data from one or more environmental sensors including at least one of, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, a smoke detection sensor, a flame detection sensor, and a motion detection sensor. The processor (104) is coupled to the input unit (102). The processor (104) is configured to determine, upon acquisition and processing the sensing data, an operational mode of the system (100) based on an operational mode information. The processor (104) is further configured to execute monitoring and control functions by way of a common hardware configuration in an online communication mode and an offline communication mode.
