Inventors include Dr. Prashant Jain; Prof. Jeetesh Kumar Jain; Kartik Jain; Pranshu Gupta; and Dr. Kuntal Barua.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A wearable protective device (102) for predictive hazard detection comprises a plurality of sensors (104) including at least one camera sensor (118), at least one ultrasonic sensor (114), at least one inertial measurement unit, and at least one global positioning system module, at least one output device (106), and a hardware processor (108). The hardware processor (108) receives sensor data from the plurality of sensors (104), performs sensor fusion processing on the received sensor data to generate a unified environmental model representing objects, trajectories, and motion patterns, executes a reinforcement learning operation based on the unified environmental model to adapt hazard prediction parameters using reward-penalty mechanisms, predicts potential collision scenarios based on the adapted hazard prediction parameters to identify threat zones before accidents occur, and generates adaptive alert signals based on the predicted potential collision scenarios calibrated to threat severity and speed for activating the at least one output device (106) to provide preventive warnings.
