Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for visualizing a cell through a in a communication network (100). The method comprises receiving identification information corresponding to the cell. The method further comprises by querying a first database (212-1), a set of cells and a reference to a location of information associated with the set of cells in at least one second database (212-2). The set of cells in the communication network corresponds to cells that are nearest matches of the identification information received in the user input, and the set of cells includes the cell to be visualized. The set of cells are displayed as user selectable options. Upon receiving a selection of the cell from the displayed selectable options, information associated with the cell is fetched from the second database and visualization data is generated. Thereafter, the generated visualization data is displayed over map layer indicating location of the cell. FIG. 4
