The system (100) comprises an edge layer (200) communicatively coupled to a cloud layer (300) via an edge gateway (206). The inspector receives voice prompts for checklist items on the voice headset (201). The cloud layer (300) is connected to the user premises equipment (400). The system (100) supports multiple input modalities such as sensors (202), laser devices (203), inspection gadgets (204) worn/carried by the inspector, cameras and scanners (205) for vehicle inspection. Parallel inference pipelines implemented by the system (100) ensure voice understanding and camera analysis occur simultaneously without blocking or degrading performance. The system includes a bi-directional ERP integration module (307) to create quality notifications, update work orders, and refine inspection steps automatically based on real-time ERP lookups triggered by voice commands.
