The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A system and method for validating article identification through multimodal recognition units and attribute correlation are disclosed. The system (100) acquires image data, barcode data, voice input, manual information, and weight information associated with one or more articles (108). A product identification model determines a candidate identity for each article, while identification attributes including visual features, optical-character-recognition text, packaging characteristics, expiry date, batch number, and weight are extracted from the acquired inputs. The identification attributes are correlated with the candidate identity and combined to generate a digital product fingerprint representing the article. The candidate identity is validated by comparing the digital product fingerprint with reference identification data, and transaction processing is performed based on the validation. The system further processes an expiry date to classify an article status as active, near-expiry, or expired, thereby providing identification and attribute validation for controlled article processing.
