The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for transport-topology-based quantification of self-healing in cementitious microstructures using computed tomography (CT)-based volumetric imaging datasets. The system (100) comprises a computing device (102) having at least one processor (104) and a memory (106) configured to execute plurality of modules (116). A volumetric crack segmentation module (118) generates segmented three-dimensional crack-network representations by differentiating structural crack formations from native capillary pore structures. A fracture transport-topology extraction module (120) generates graph-derived transport-topology data structures associated with fracture transport pathways. A bottleneck characterization module (122) determines local transport bottleneck distributions using medial-axis skeletonization and Euclidean distance transform (EDT)-based spatial characterization. A transport restriction quantification module (124) generates topological transport resistance entropy (TTRE)-based transport restriction characterization outputs for determining self-healing effectiveness through a healing effectiveness determination module (126).
