MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621052604 A) filed by Tejesh Marsale; and Jyoti Singh on April 24, 2026, for System And Method For Translating Animal Behavioral And Acoustic Cues Into Human-Readable Data.

Inventors include Tejesh Marsale; and Jyoti Singh.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A system and method for translating animal behavioral and acoustic cues into human-readable data is disclosed. A wearable sensor array (100) borne by a subject animal synchronously captures acoustic, kinematic and physiological data streams. An edge-computing intelligence module (208) executes a real-time fusion engine that applies to each stream a dynamic modality weight adjusted continuously in dependence upon a per-stream signal quality metric. A hybrid classifier projects the streams into a latent space and matches a live embedding against clusters of a hierarchical ethological library (402), the weights being applied to the distance metric. A context matrix (406) resolves an identical signature to different semantic outputs by operational mode. A handler interface and feedback system delivers the semantic output through visual, audio or coded-haptic transducers, including a tactical-silence mode, a deterministic local fallback preserving operation upon loss of cloud connectivity, and a tamper-evident audit trail recording the events.
