Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method for monitoring tire pressures of a vehicle (10) is disclosed. The system (100) comprises one or more height measurement sensors (110) disposed on the vehicle (10), where the one or more height measurement sensors (110) include at least one height measurement sensor (110) associated with at least one rotating member (105) of the vehicle (10). A control unit (103) is communicatively coupled with the height measurement sensor (110) and configured to receive height data, determine a height value corresponding to the at least one rotating member (105), compare the determined height value with a pre-defined height value, and determine a state of the one or more rotating member (105) based on the comparison. The determined state is rendered on a display device (107) associated with the vehicle (10), thereby enabling real-time monitoring of tire pressure states without requiring direct in-tire pressure sensing components.
