Abstract: TRANSMITTING ENERGY SAVING (ES) ASSISTANCE INFORMATION COMPRISING THE SIB1 MODE AND AN UPLINK (UL) WAKE-UP SIGNAL (WUS) ABSTRACT The present disclosure discloses a method and a Distributed Unit (DU) for Energy Saving (ES) assistance information comprising the UL WUS configuration and SIB1 mode. The method comprises determining, by a Distributed Unit (DU) of a Network Energy Saving (NES) cell, a System Information Block 1 (SIB1) mode of the NES cell based on broadcasting of a SIB1. The method comprises transmitting, by the DU, an Energy Saving (ES) assistance information comprising the SIB1 mode and an Uplink (UL) Wake-Up Signal (WUS) configuration, to one or more anchor cells via a Central Unit (CU) of the NES cell, for activating a NES mode on the NES cell.
