MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641073652 A) filed by Indian Space Research Organisation on June 13, 2026, for System And Method For Synchronizing Distributed High-Speed Data Acquisition.
Inventors include Delvadiya, Jaykumar Kantilal; Aher, Pratik; Arora, Rajat; and Mehta, Sanjay D.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method for synchronizing distributed high-speed data acquisition. The system (100) includes a central processing card (102) coupled to a plurality of data acquisition cards (112). The central processing card (102) includes clock-generation circuitry (104), a first processing unit (106), a serial communication interface (108), and an inter-card communication interface (110). Each data acquisition card includes RF sampling ADCs (114), a second processing unit (116A), a clock distribution chip (118A), serial interface circuitry (120A), a configurable delay circuit (122A), and an inter-card communication interface (124). The central processing card (102) distributes a sampling clock (132), a system reference signal (134), and synchronization trigger signals (136). Calibration data / sampled ADC data (138) is used to determine sample-delay values (412), apply delay correction, and aggregate temporally aligned ADC data (416) for synchronized signal processing and verification.
