MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621069162 A) filed by Sage University on June 02, 2026, for System And Method For Stroke Risk Prediction.

Inventors include Dr. Prashant Jain; Dr. Sumit Jain; Prof. Dharmendra Pandey; Ranu Solanki; Astha Jain; and Kunal Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: A system (100) for stroke risk prediction comprises a wearable sensing device (102) worn at a body region of a subject to sense a multi-parameter physiological data stream at the body region, and a hardware processor (104) coupled to the wearable sensing device (102). The hardware processor (104) maintains a longitudinal personal baseline (106) of the multi-parameter physiological data stream of the subject, determines a multi-axis departure of the multi-parameter physiological data stream from the longitudinal personal baseline (106) sustained over a rolling multi-day window, and generates a stroke risk score (108) growing with the multi-axis departure. On the stroke risk score (108) crossing a first level, a control signal is transmitted to the wearable sensing device (102) to switch the wearable sensing device (102) into a higher-fidelity sensing mode. On the stroke risk score (108) crossing a second level higher, an alert signal is transmitted to an interface device (110). FIG. 1
