Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SMART AGRICULTURE MONITORING USING IOT The present disclosure relates to a system and method for smart agriculture monitoring using IoT sensor data. Measurements from distributed agricultural sensor nodes are normalized by source, cultivation zone, measurement unit and event time. A reliability engine evaluates freshness, sensor health, physical plausibility, communication quality and cross-sensor consistency before the measurements are used to estimate a crop-zone state. Temporal and spatial changes in the reliability-qualified state are analyzed to detect soil-water, environmental, irrigation-response or sensor-related conditions. A confidence value controls whether the system releases a monitoring alert or control decision or instead initiates adaptive re-sampling or source recovery. In optional control embodiments, an authorized bounded command is transmitted to an irrigation or environmental actuator and subsequent sensor measurements verify the physical response. The architecture therefore distinguishes degraded sensor evidence from actual field conditions while enabling energy-efficient, zone-specific and verifiable agricultural monitoring.
