The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for session-based restricted application access control on a computing device (102) operating in a shared-device environment without creating or activating a separate user account or profile. A configuration management module (114) stores restricted and whitelisted application identifiers, parent voice reference data, parent-configured messages, and school-time scheduling information. An unlock-session management module (116) initiates an unlock session and initializes a session authorization state. An application-launch monitoring module (118) classifies an application launch. A foreground authorization module (120) prevents completion of a first restricted-application launch and obtains biometric or parent voice authentication. Upon successful authentication, a session authorization control module (124) authorizes restricted applications for the current unlock session. Upon unsuccessful authentication, an application access enforcement module (126) maintains the restriction and presents a parent-configured message. Whitelisted applications bypass additional authorization.
