Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a method (1400) performed by a User Equipment (UE) for transmitting service data to a service network entity using a service plane in a wireless communication system is provided and initiating a service plane setup procedure for delivery of Non-Access Stratum (NAS) services. The method (1400) further includes establishing a Packet Data Unit (PDU) session for the service plane towards a service network entity selected by a core network entity to control the service plane setup procedure. The method (1400) further includes transmitting signal to a Radio Access Network (RAN) associated with the service plane to activate a radio bearer having one or more Quality of Service (QoS) flows associated with the service plane. The method (1400) further includes transmitting service data to the service network entity via the one or more QoS flows in the radio bearer.
