MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511002737 A) filed by Sahajanand Technologies Private Limited on January 13, 2025, for System And Method For Separating Individual Gemstones From A Batch Of Gemstones.

Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING INDIVIDUAL GEMSTONES FROM A BATCH OF GEMSTONES Described herein is a system and a method for separating individual gemstones from a batch of gemstones (12). The system includes a receptacle (1), at least one elongated member (2, 3) and a motion mechanism. The receptacle comprises a sloped surface and configured to hold the batch of gemstones (12). The elongated member extends into the receptacle and has a top surface configured to support a single gemstone during vertical motion. The motion mechanism operatively is connected to said at least one elongated member (2, 3) and is adapted to move said at least one elongated member elongated member (2, 3) in a vertical direction to isolate a single gemstone (1a, 1b) from the batch of gemstones (12) during ascent of said at least one elongated member (2, 3).
