MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611066222 A) filed by Sarvesh Kumar Gupta on May 26, 2026, for System And Method For Self-Healing Federated Data Fabric With Predictive Failure Prevention.
Inventor includes Sarvesh Kumar Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for self-healing federated data fabric with predictive failure prevention. The system comprises distributed data nodes, node agents, a federated metadata registry, a telemetry acquisition layer, a predictive failure prevention engine, a self-healing orchestration module, a policy enforcement module, and a recovery validation module. Operational telemetry including latency, storage usage, processor load, memory usage, connector retries, replication lag, heartbeat signals, metadata mismatches, packet loss, and query failures is collected and normalized. The predictive failure prevention engine generates health scores and failure probabilities for nodes, connectors, query routes, synchronization paths, and metadata services. When a probable failure is detected, the self- healing orchestration module performs remediation actions including query rerouting, replica activation, connector restart, metadata repair, workload balancing, and node isolation. The policy enforcement module ensures governance compliance during recovery, while the recovery validation module verifies stable restoration of federated data access. (Accompanied Figure No. 1)
